We’ve just been let in on a little secret about a fabulous luxury hotel retreat not far from Edinburgh in Scotland. Cringletie House Hotel is an award winning Baronial mansion with a little bit of a difference. Not only is it the only hotel in this picturesque region to win four gold stars from VisitScotland, as well as the AA’s Inspector’s Choice Top Hotel for the area, but it’s now the proud holder of three AA rosettes for its fabulous Sutherland Restaurant.
We’ve been invited to come and see what all the fuss is about, and if we don’t mind saying so, we’re looking forward to setting foot on its 28 acres of land, exploring every nook and cranny of the 19th Century mansion, taking a shot on the croquet lawn, and discovering chef Patrick Bardoulet’s latest French creation.
